ACTION FUNDER

During 2022 and 2023, Plans With Purpose has launched 3 funding projects through Action Funder and supported a total of 5 local charities and organisations: Jean Genie, Go Wild Denmead, Zero Carbon Guildford, Ruskin Road Repair Café & RASASC. The initiatives range from funding repair equipment and website upgrades for a repair café to buying land for community rewilding. Action Funder connects businesses with local initiatives that are looking for small funding pots to make a big difference. It’s a great way to connect to the communities around us and better understand their needs and the great work people are leading. Action Funder helps to better connect Plans With Purpose with the community we work in, so that we do more good together.

The Guildford Creativity Bank

Ali is the Founder of The Guildford Creativity Bank. The aim of The Guildford Creativity Bank is to share creative resources in the local community so that everyone can experience the joys of creativity. This project was started during lockdown, inspired by all the rainbows and blue hearts decorating our pavements & windows. It reminded us how important creativity can be for our mental health, self-expression and happiness and that creativity should be accessible to all. Donations of arts and crafts materials are collected from the local community and passed on to local families.

DISABILITY CHALLENGERS

Challengers is a charity that gives disabled children and young people the opportunity to play, have fun, and make friends in a safe and supportive environment.

They support children aged 2 – 18 at Pre-schools, Playschemes and Youthschemes across the South East of England.
